The track I Wish I Was a Dragonfly has been inspired by these amazing insects. It positions the listeners into the dragonfly’s “helmet” and drives them for a flight into their natural environment and beyond. Technically it was created by combining two different methods of sound synthesis, sampling and phase modulation. The former uses recordings of dragonflies in an effort to acoustically project a real dimension of the dragonflies’ flight from an outside perspective, while the latter tries to create an imaginary sound world as experienced by these amazing insects from the inside. The synthesis methods have been implemented in the Pure Data environment, while the arrangement was finalized in Ableton Live. The piece also features the poem 'I wish I was a Dragonfly' by Serenity Elliot.

Το κομμάτι Θα Ήθελα να Ήμουν Λιβελλούλα είναι εμπνευσμένο από αυτά τα καταπληκτικά έντομα. Τοποθετεί τους ακροατές στο “κράνος” της λιβελλούλας και τους οδηγεί να πετάξουν στο φυσικό της περιβάλλον και πέρα από αυτό. Τεχνικά έχει δημιουργηθεί συνδυάζοντας δύο διαφορετικές μεθόδους σύνθεσης ήχου, τη δειγματοληψία και τη διαμόρφωση φάσης. Η πρώτη χρησιμοποιεί ηχογραφήσεις απο λιβελλούλες σε μια προσπάθεια να προβάλει ακουστικά την πραγματική διάσταση της πτήσης τους μέσα από μια εξωτερική προοπτική, ενώ η δεύτερη προσπαθεί να μας συνδέσει με έναν φανταστικό ηχητικό κόσμο όπως τον βιώνουν αυτά τα καταπληκτικά έντομα εσωτερικά. Οι μέθοδοι σύνθεσης έχουν εφαρμοστεί στο περιβάλλον Pure Data, ενώ η τελική σύνθεση οριστικοποιήθηκε στο λογισμικό Ableton Live. Tο κομμάτι επίσης περιλαμβάνει το ποίημα 'I wish I was a Dragonfly' της Serenity Elliot.
